Looking for Volunteers for Sub-Committees

Decorations Sub-Committee – Help plan and create decorations for the Masquerade Ball

Donations Sub-Committee – Help contact businesses and individuals to ask if they’d like to donate items and packages for auction at the event, and/or contact vendors to see if they’d like to donate/discount services to help put on event (ex. Flowers, Printing, etc.)

Sponsorship Sub-Committee – Help contact businesses and individuals to ask if they’d like to sponsor our event. We have different levels of table sponsorships available, as well as a Beverage Sponsorship – could offer other sponsorships as well (ex. “Dessert Course Brought to You By ______”) in exchange for sponsor’s inclusion in the program and event signage

Marketing Sub-Committee – Help price out printing and postage costs for Marketing Materials, and/or help advertise the event by hanging flyers, posting on social media, word-of-mouth, etc.

Day-Of Sub-Committee – Join one (or more) of the three teams we’ll need on Saturday, November 2.

Note: First Meeting won’t be until September; We have several volunteers on the list already – email lauren@fortkennedy.org if you’d like to join.

Set-Up Team – Meet at Fort Kennedy the afternoon of the event (Time TBD), load up the vehicles, and caravan over to the venue to get the room ready before the doors open at 5PM

Event Staff – Help staff the check-in table and the silent auctions, assist with drink ticket and wine wall ticket sales, accept donations for Fort Kennedy, take pictures of the event, etc.

Clean-Up Team – Help breakdown the room (Time TBD) and remove all the decorations that belong to Fort Kennedy, help auction winners get baskets to their cars or hotel rooms, pack up Fort Kennedy vehicles
